Any recommendations for a tallit source for a soon-to-be Bar Mitzvah?

Either:
- on-line and reputable
- store in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA

Also opinions on material:
- wool or wool blend
- silk or silk blend
- rayon or other synthetic

I ordered online and was not particularly happy. I ordered a kiddush cup which
turned out to be plastic. So I would check the local Jewish supplies store.

Shopping online affords you the convenience and comfort to do
comparison shopping from your desk.

Just be sure that the store is a reputable one.
